Detailed description of Tuscawilla Country Club
Tuscawilla Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Winter Springs, Florida.
The Tuscawilla golf course opened in 1973.The course was designed by Joe Lee. The course is carved from a gently rolling terrain with a backdrop of stately live oaks draped with Spanish moss, which lends itself to a Southern Plantation atmosphere.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,871 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,492 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 17, a par-5 that plays to 578 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 150 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, a 418 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Tuscawilla is # 15, a 335 yard par-4.

The course is great, but be prepared for rude and incompetent staff. Menu is limited to deep friend whatever. The management has lost control of the insane asylum. They have no idea of the gem they have and they treat customers as if we are in their way. I went to fetch a waiter to serve us on the patio and he took my seat at the table to take our order. Tip was not optional, it was added to the bill. The greens keepers have the course in great shape, but they might run you over with the mower if you get in their way. I hope and pray for new owners to clean house someday.
