Countryland is a goat farm. But it is my goat farm. It is actually one of the most scenic course on some holes, that I play.
The problem is the fairways are really only marginally maintained. There is often not much grass in the winter or early spring.
The greens are fair and some are pretty well maintained. You will never get a flat lie which makes it challenging. Number 9 green is three tiered and one of the toughest I have every putted anywhere. It will test even the best golfer. It is a course right out of a Rick Reilly novel.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line:I would play again, Worse than average course for the area
