The Makai Golf Course at Princeville at Hanalei is a Resort, 27 hole golf course located in Kauai, Hawaii.

The Makai Golf Course was designed by master Golf Course architect, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and consists of 3 separate 9-Hole Golf Courses; Ocean, Woods, and Lakes.

All 3 Golf Courses provide Golfers of all skill levels with challenge and variety from intriguing shots to large, lightly contoured greens and the breathtaking coastline with the ocean far below on the Ocean Nine's famous seventh hole.

The Makai 18 holes was a pleasure to play, and the staff was beyond expectations.

Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy

The description of this course is now wrong. 18 of the holes is now the Makai course and were redone (took almost 2 years) recently. The remaining 9 holes were not redone and remain as a low price for locals.

Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
