This course is a challenge for me to play. It's close by to the time share that we have and so I've played it a number of times. There are some holes that are very tricky for me. The bunker sand could be a higher quality. The carts are propane and very noisy. Your first challenge is on the first green that is very undulating and tough to read for your first opportunity to put. More often than not I score a 7 on the first hole because of lack of practice on the type of greens and surface. I'll definitely play it again to try to overcome these challenges. There is a good restaurant to have lunch at with good food and drinks and service. A lot of new house construction is being done on this course.

A beautiful layout in the popular Po'ipu Beach resort area. Partially surrounded by individual homes, but all are attractive, high-dollar. Beautiful views of surrounding mountains, with limited ocean (no beach or cliffs!) views. Course is moderately difficult, with interesting layout. Course is in very good condition, immaculately tended, with fast greens. Gas cart with GPS is included. Be sure to ask ahead about special pricing, since generous unadvertised discounts are offered during the Summer months at most courses in the area.

I play Kiahuna course every other day when on vacation in Kauai. A well maintained course, a good layout for carts and WALKING. Walking is allowed! A challenging course but within reason for most golfers. Wind conditions make you play like locals - wind is your friend so play with it.
