Danville Country Club first opened for play in 1928 as a 9-hole course. The course was designed by William H. Diddel. Larry Packard and Brent Wadsworth designed the back nine, which was added in 1958.

Danville is a challenging course with small greens and well-manicured fairways. The terrain is rolling, with trees, hills, lakes, and gullies that come into play.
