Eagle Creek Golf Course, previously named The National at Eagle Creek and before that known as Eagle Creek Resort, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Findlay, Illinois
The course opened for play in 1989. The course was designed by Ken Killian. The course was renovated/redesigned in 2010 by Mike Benkusky
This course was named as one the "Top Resort Courses in the Nation" by "Golf Digest." The Resort and Conference Center, as well as the course, closed in 2009. The course was reopened in 2014.
The course has beautiful fairways that twist and turn through forested areas and over fingers of water. It is surrounded by a wooded area bordering Lake Shelbyville. There are many dogleg fairways in the layout and the course has large greens.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,924 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,978 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 580 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 13, a par-3 that plays to 165 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 536 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The National at Eagle Creek is # 13, the 165 yard par-3.

Very difficult (tight fairways) but from the white tees it is not overly long.
