Detailed description of Glencoe Golf Club
Glencoe Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Glencoe, Illinois.
The golf course at Glencoe Golf Club first opened for play in 1921. The course was redesigned by Ken Killian and Dick Nugent in 1964 and again in 1978.
This old traditional course will really test your putting abilities. The fairways are narrow, and the large greens are fast.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6517 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5713 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 536 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 140 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 527 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 12, a 140 yard par-3.

It's May so most courses are in good shape and so is this one. Gets slow as the season goes on. But it's a nice public course for the money. The staff at the clubhouse are not especially helpful. But they get busy so I suppose that's teh excuse. All in all, a good public course.

Old course with alot of big trees. Some tight fairways and smaller greens make for a good challenge. Pretty good conditions. Fair price for the course.

Glencoe is a beautiful, well maintained, fun and challenging golf course. The clubhouse and proshop are dated, and need total remodeling or replacement. The quality of the restaurant is the worst. I just enjoy playing golf there.

A traditional well maintained north shore of Chicago course, with old tree's and narrow fairways. Greens usually in good shape. Nice place to spend an afternoon

Glencoe Glof Club is in great condition Fairways & greens are the best on the north Shore. Challenging layout for seniors. Bombers might find course a bit short for their games. Great value for seniors at 26$ , walking, Monday thru Thursday
