By far our groups favorite course. Very Penal if you are not hitting it good, but very fair. Awesome layout and the more you play it the more you like it. 7 you must hit a draw off the tee, 8 you must hit a cut and 9 you need to hit it dead straight. That is juast a small sample of the way you need to play this course.

I played in the afternoon on Saturday and the pace of play was great. The course is much busier in the morning hours. This is a "target golf" type of course. Very few holes are driving holes. Mostly high irons or hybrids off the tee and mid to low irons into the green. If you are not a fairly straight hitter, you can lose a lot of golf balls and mark some high scores on your card.

Course has had numerous different owners and management companies in its relatively short existance. With rounds played being down everywhere, Bittersweet feels low price is the only way to compete. However, this brings out a lower quality golfer and more outings. Frequently no ranger on dutey, which may account for the large amount of unrepaired ball marks and unfilled divots (grass/sand not even provided on carts usually). This is a pet peave of mine. You WILL lose more than the usual amount of balls, so come prepared. All that being said, some of my favorite holes are on Bittersweet, such as #7, #8, #14, and #15. Give it a try.

I've played Bittersweet MANY times, and it always offers a different experience. It's a target golf course masquerading as wide open Parkland. Each hole demands that you find the correct approach angle, while avoiding the obvious wetlands that surround the property. It's a terrific challenge, and a beautiful setting.

Visiting area for work two weeks a month. Have only played here once. Beautiful course that meanders through a housing development and requires the use of an electric cart. Lots and lots of water features and blind shots. Lost lots of balls, but will return to play again. Enjoyed/liked this course.

Very challenging course. If you spray at all offthe tee your in trouble. Green complexes are raised and guarded very well. Greens were alittle froggy the day we played, but course overall was in good condition. If you like a challenging course this is a must play. Paid $34 on golfnow.
