Colonial Oaks Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Colonial Oaks Golf Course first opened for play in 1969. The course was designed by Pat Riley.
This is a relatively flat course. The water hazards along with bogey creek, which crosses the course ten times throughout an 18 hole round, and the limited number of bunkers, are placed in such a way to equalize players of all skill levels. Water hazards come into play on over half of the holes. The signature hole is #12, a 531-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot over a gully while avoiding the out-of-bounds stakes on the right side of the fairway.

Just off I-69 makes its a great afternoon stop for COLD fall golf and low rates @ 18/$15/wlk. Basic flat straight away track BUT @ 6,582yds it gives the long irons something to do. There's a creek that winds throughout the course and hits almost every hole keeping the boredom to a minimum. Worth the stop as the greens are good and the fairways full with grass but some ball movement might be needed. Shot 78/34putts and walked it in 3hrs as it is VERY walker friendly.
