Lake Kezar Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1923. The course was designed by Donald Ross. Nine new holes were added in 1998. The new nine were designed by Paul Lesky and Brian Merril.
The picturesque course offers several views of the White Mountains. The greens are fast and undulating, and the fairways are narrow. There is water that comes into play on a few holes

A group of 20 or more guys have been playing Kezar for 16 years now. We play Thursday - Sunday and have never had anything but a great time, great golf, and just an over all quality time. The staff of this golf course is the reason we keep coming back year after year.... Warm smiling faces,very polite and very friendly people. Kezar is a friedly place to play golf. This coarse is in the very challenging weather of the mountain foot hills of weastern Maine and some times winter is tough on it, but this spring the greens are in some of the best condition I can remember. A month from now should be awwwwsome!!!!!

It is one of my faorities. The back nine is like a Cathedral. The tall pines,the curvatour of the fairways. The quiet ,peaceful,contemplative. It is simple but challenging. the staff are welcoming and helpful.
