The Par-3 Course ____________
The Par-3 Course at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club is a great place to sharpen you short game and to warm up for The Championship Course.
Par for the course is 27. The course plays to 1,260 yards. The longest holes on the course are # 3 and #9, both 165 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 105 yards.
The Championship Course ____________
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,844 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,079 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 547 yards. The shortest holes on the course are# 9 and #16, both par-3s that play to 190 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 416 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course according to the score card. The easiest hole is # 16, one of the 190 yard par-3s.
Some think that #. 14 on presents the greatest challenge. The hole ranges between 450 and 370 yards and is a slight dogleg left. From White tees the hole plays 406 yards, and a pond is strategically placed about 240 yards off the tee. If you are fortunate enough to hit a good shot, you have about 165 yards left to a large green with two separate shelves. Just left of the green is trouble, and two bunkers guard the left side of the green. If you hit this green in regulation you still have work to do. Many small hidden breaks make this the most difficult birdie on the entire course.
