Hyannisport Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts.
Hyannisport Club golf course opened in 1897. The course was designed by Donald J. Ross.
Hyannisport Club is set on the southern coast of Cape Cod. Spectacular views of Nantucket Sound and historic Hyannis Port can be viewed from many of the golf holes. The salt water marshes surrounding much of the front nine provide a summer home for many migratory birds.
This course is designed like a seaside-links course in Ireland. The greens are extremely fast, small, and firm. The fairways are wide open, and there are very few trees coming into play. The signature hole is #4, a 410-yard, par 4, featuring a sharp ninety-degree dogleg left fairway with a marshland on the left side that flows all the way to its small green.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,250 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,611 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 514 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 143 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, the signature 410 yard par-4 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Hyannisport Club is # 17, the143 yard par-3.
