Mount Hood Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Melrose, Massachusetts.
Mount Hood Golf Course was a WPA project and built during the depression and opened in 1936. Some reports say the course opened as early as 1933.
The Mt. Hood Golf Course ran a ski area that operated from before 1952 until the 1960's. It was named the Arthur L. Delaney Ski Slope, in honor of Arthur Delaney, a member of the 10th Mountain Division killed in 1945.
The course plays to 5,553 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 65.7 and the slope rating is 107. Par for the course is 69.
