The Meadow At Peabody is an 18-hole public golf course located in Peabody, Massachusetts.
The course opened for play in 2001. The Meadow was designed by golf architects Geoffrey Cornish, Brian Silva, and Mark Mungeam.
This meadow-style course features some dramatic elevation changes throughout. The fairways are mostly tree-lined, with a few holes wide open. Water does not come into play. The elevated greens are fast, nicely undulated, and average 5,000 square feet. The Meadow plays from 5,136 to 6,708-yards, and there are four sets of tees to challenge all skill levels.
Championship tees: par-72, 6,708 yards, course rating 73.7, slope rating 135.
Blue tees: par-72, 6,215 yards, course rating 71.1, slope rating 128.
White tees: par-72, 5,795 yards, course rating 68.7, slope rating 124.
White tees(W): par-72, 5,795 yards, course rating 75.0, slope rating 131.
Red tees(W): par-72, 5,136 yards, course rating 71.2, slope rating 126.

Played a shotgun start on July 4. Great deal on green fees ($50 with cart) The course is in super condition and the staff is very golfer-friendly. Challenging course (my wife doesn't like to play it). I would try it.

Played the course on April Fools day for the first time. Although there was a little leftover snow in a couple of bunkers, the course was in very good condition for the time of year. Would return during late spring or summer to get full effect of the views and course conditions. There is no pratice range, just a putting and chipping green. Overall experience was good for first round of the season.

I play here often and for a public course I think they do a very good job with the golf course and the people that work there are extremly nice. The price is good and the course is difficult which I enjoy

I have to disagree with Frank, although in 2001, when only the back 9 was open, I did try to walk. Impossible. I think this is the best municipal course in the state. Typical Brian Silva design. Played many times while we lived in Boston. Very challenging and you must play it once to know where to hit upon your return. This is one of my favorite courses in the northeast.

The course does not allow carts off the cart path after rainy days. Conditions not bad ground firm even 90% would have helped. Very hilly course older persons usually do not walk it. Would not allow exemption for me with bad hip and knee. I am in pain now for playing that way. Too strick with this rule.
