Cabo Del Sol Golf Course is a Public resort, 36 hole golf course located in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico, on the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula. The facility has two world-class 18 hole golf courses. They are The Ocean Course and The Desert Course.

The Ocean Course first opened for play in 1994. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The Ocean Course landscape includes desert, mountain, and sea. Seven holes border the rugged coastline of the Sea of Cortés. Holes 16, 17 and 18 are considered by many to be among the finest finishing holes in all of golf.

#17 is a spectacular par 3. From the back tees (178 yards), your drive is played from a hilltop tee over a beach to a green set atop a granite shelf and fronted by scalloped bunkers, with the ocean short and right. Depending on the wind, a relatively short iron tee shot might yield a birdie, but a mishit shot could result in a big number. Six tee placements supply options.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,111 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,800 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 555 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 139 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 5, the 490-yard par-4 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The Cabo Del Sol Ocean Course is # 11, a 352 yard par-4.
