Century Oaks Golf Course first opened for play in 1973. The course was designed by James Madison. The course has under gone extensive renovation in the past three years by golf course architect Thomas Matteson.
This course was built through a wooded area. All the fairways are lined with trees, making shot accuracy essential. Water hazards (a river) come into play on several holes. Century Oaks Golf Club has bentgrass putting greens and bluegrass tees and fairways. Playing at 2950 yards the Par 35 course is not excessively long, however with a river, two creeks, and twenty five acres of mature forest it offers up an enjoyable challenge for all levels of players.
