Gaylord Country Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Gaylord, Michigan.
The Gaylord Country Club Golf Course first opened for play in 1949. The course was designed by Wilfrid Reid. The course was redesigned by Robert W. Bills and Donald L. Childs in 1971.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,452 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,490 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 518 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 157 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 518 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 13, a 314 yard par-4.
The greens are difficult because of their fast speed and varying undulations. The fairways were built on rolling terrain, and many are well bunkered. The design also includes flowers, water, pines, hardwoods, and rolling hills with panoramic views.

Nice course, if you are looking for a flat course to play on. Don't get me wrong. You should play it at least once if you haven't when you are in the area.
