Treetops Resort is a Midwest's "Must Play" golf resort and one of the best collections of golf courses anywhere in the country. Treetops is home to 81 holes of championship golf and features five distinctly different courses. They are 1. The Masterpiece Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., 2. The Premier Course, designed by Tom Fazio, and The Rick Smith designed Signature Course, Tradition Course. and Par 3 Course, a 9-hole challenge.
Dramatic views, contours and rolling terrain provide a beautiful setting for Treetop's world-class golf.
The Masterpiece Course __________
The Masterpiece Course was Robert Trent Jones, Sr.'s final design in Michigan and is truly a masterpiece. In his own words, Jones claimed it his crowning glory. The course is located at the headwaters of the Pigeon River and takes full advantage of natural valleys, ravines and broad plains. The signature sixth hole features a 120' vertical drop and a panoramic view of the Pigeon River Valley.
The Premier Course __________
The Premier Course is the only course in Michigan designed by famed architect Tom Fazio, making the most of the rolling terrain and striking the perfect balance between challenge and forgiveness. When asked to name a signature hole, Fazio replied, "All of them!"
The Signature Course __________
The Signature Course unfolds into high upland and features undulating greens and wide, forgiving fairways. Signature has been rated a Top 50 Course for Women.
The Tradition Course __________
The Tradition Course is Rick Smith's walking course which pays homage to golf's origin, and is well named as it features traditional wooden pins and pennant flags. The links-style layout takes advantage of high ridges and hilltops, providing some sloping while still being walkable. Holes one through nine wrap back around to the starter house, allowing for nine-hole play.
The Par 3 Course __________
The Par 3 Course is a 9-hole layout that compliments Treetops four championship courses. Rick Smith's par three layout has received national recognition since it opened, consistently ranked as the #1 par three course in America.

For the price, a very good deal. Worthy of a trip in the fall, when prices are lower.

Outstanding course for the money. The easiest of the 5 courses at Treetops Resort. Seems like they carved every fairway through the landscape..... scenic views on each hole.
