Plane (airport), trains (railroad track) and Automobiles (2 converging highways) bring this beautiful layout/golf course down several notches. Beautiful holes along the river were ruined by traffic jams and planes constantly flying overhead.

Excellent layout, beware the wayward shot, ryegrass rough will EAT your balls. Very long as well (par 5 over 630 yards!!)Greens are nicely shaped and sloped. Driving range too far away from clubhouse though. Course is very spread out. Nice GPS carts. Airport proximity can be a bit distracting.

Outstanding track and excellant staff. One of the best courses in the Greater Grand Rapids area. GPS on carts a plus.

Try to play here every couple of years as its one of the premier courses in Grand Rapids and the Senior $36 special is better than the $55 normal price. Always is great condition from tee to green and the rough, well its ROUGH. Mix the tee's between the Blues (7.002 yds) and Whites (6,512 yds) with a 74.5 / 137 it gives you everything you can handle. Must put this on your highway golf if traveling on I-96 or in the Grand Rapids area. Shooting 44/42 w/ 31 putts was having a good day on the saves.
