Detailed description of Lincoln Country Club, CLOSED 2020
Lincoln Country Club is a Public, 18-hole golf course in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The course has been in operation since 1922.
The course has wide fairways and large greens. The club also offers a thirty-two-lane bowling alley and banquet rooms for parties.
Blue tees: par-72, 5,538 yards
Gold tees: par-71, 4,817 yards
Red tees: par-72, 4,132 yards
Lincoln Country Club closed in 2020.

Ran into an eight-some of beginners who seemed to be more interested in drinking than playing golf. Didn't know enough to let our two-some play thru.

Not having a good day checking out some golf courses in Grand Rapids, MI to play in the future. Drove by Lincoln Country Club built in 1922 and found that they are building homes on it. Talking to a nearby gas station customer, he said it closed a couple years and they started building homes on it last year some time. He said that it was going downhill its last few years. Another sad ending to a 100 year old course.
