Chisholm Hills Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Lansing, Michigan.
Chisholm Hills Golf Club opened in 1955. The course was designed by Jerry Matthews. The course was redesigned in 1997 by Bruce Matthews.
Chisholm Hills Golf Club is built on rolling terrain through mature trees, wetlands, and lakes. Greens and Tees are of Bent Grasses, with fairways of Kentucky Blue. During the redesign, bunkers were converted to "pure" white sand.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,559 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,606 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 512 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 10, a par-3 that plays to 135 yards from the back tees.Watch out for # 2, a 250 yard par-3 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Chisholm Hills Golf Club is # 10, the 135 yard par-3.

I don't like giving bad ratings BUT the first eight (8) holes had lots of problems with the overall conditions. We heard that heavy rains on Friday kept the weekend mowers off the course (True) but that doesn't excuse tee box conditions, fairways and lack of yardage markers. I believe years ago, this was a great track as the layout hints to, but most of the fairways needed weed control and the rough had bald spots mixed with thick grass. Had the yardage sticks in the fairway but miss the sprinkler heads being marked. The back 9 is the better side and leaves you with a feeling that, maybe I will come back under better conditions if price is under $25/18holes. Blue tee box note: Most of them have been abandoned and moved to share the white yardage. (6,559 to 6,134)
