Emerald Vale Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Manton, Michigan. Emerald Vale Golf Club is conveniently located just 15 minutes north of Cadillac and 30 minutes south of Traverse City.
The Golf Course at Emerald Vale Golf Club first opened for play in 1997. The course was designed by Bruce Matthews III.
This course at Emerald Vale Golf Club was built on the rolling terrain of Michigan's northern lower peninsula. The front nine offers wide fairways, which are lined with hardwood and pine trees. The back nine is a little less forgiving as it winds around the front nine and features tight fairways and many sand bunkers. Emerald Vale Lake comes into play on holes #8, a 430-yard, par 4, and #18, a 462-yard, par 4. Locals claim the scenery of this course is breathtaking.
Carved from some of the most scenic land in Wexford County, Emerald Vale's natural beauty is enhanced by a creative and challenging design that will satisfy both the accomplished and novice golfer. The course has 120' of elevation change, broad fairways, and spacious greens.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,800 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,277 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 2, a par-5 that plays to 592 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 153 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 18, a 462 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Emerald Vale Golf Club is # 9, a 165 yard par-3.

Absolutely amazing value. Great layout and very scenic. As good as courses that are double and triple the price in the area. I would strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a great round of golf to play this course.
