Sandy Ridge Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Midland, Michigan.
The course dates to 1966 when it first opened for play. The course was designed by Bruce Matthews.
The layout is a mix of open and bermed fairways, as well as tree-lined, semi-rolling hills. Water comes into play on fifteen holes. The watered fairways lead you to top quality greens, most of which are sloped and fairly fast.
A difficult hole is #17, a 170-yard, par 3, which plays from an elevated tee over a water hazard to a green guarded by sand bunkers. Hole #18 is bounded by water on three sides and a fairway bunker sits to the right.

Played hundreds of rounds total, in 3 leagues. My favorite home course. Water drainage a problem after heavy rains. Four or 5 greens have unfair front slopes with front hole placements. Clubhouse/services adequate for most groups. Friendly staff, dedicated groundskeepers.
