Newberry Country Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Newberry, Michigan.
Newberry Country Club first opened for play in 1927. This course was renovated and reopened in 1999 as an eighteen hole course. Mike Husby did the 1999 design work.
Tranquil ponds, rolling landscapes, abounding wildlife, challenging holes, and a wonderful driving range, makes this golf course a true Upper Michigan experience. The hilly design has some tree-lined fairways. There are several short par 3's, with yardage being as short as 150 yards. There are a few elevated greens and others are well bunkered. Two ponds come into play on two holes.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 5933 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4978 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 480 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 151 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, the 480 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Newberry Country Club is # 12, the151 yard par-3.

The course was in great shape and enjoyed playing it. Future vacations in the area will include playing here again. Good value for a good course. Would recommend.
