Taking the short-cut down M-52 back to Jackson, MI and decided to stop in and play my old friend Tom E home course, as it was fairly open at the time. Playing the Blues at 6,349 yds / 68.4 / 120 on a basic flat layout, mix of hardwood/pines, ponds/stream, mature full green fairways/greens and a cooler day, we're golfing. Good mix of tight and open holes with two (2) of the four (4) par 5's at 550yds give pressure to the long placement shots to stay in the fairway. Holes are back and forth but have plenty of distance between them to relax about not being hit in the grill while playing in your fairway. Shot 38/38 w/29putts in 3hrs as the small greens are tough to hit but set-up for easy saves as most of the greens are open in the front and mostly flat. For the $23.00 its worth the stop in the PM for a quick tune-up round and get back on the road.
