Pine Trace Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Pine Trace Golf Club Golf Course first opened for play in 1989. The course was designed by Arthur Hills.
A common link between Hill's courses is that he designs them for anyone and everyone to enjoy. Pine Trace offers four distinct tee levels that provide enough challenge for anyone. The Championship Tees measure about 6600 yards. The Forward Tees measure about 5000 yards.
The holes are setup very nicely throughout the course. Every hole takes advantage of the terrain. Every hole is different and requires a different approach strategy. Unlike some courses, Pine Trace gives players an opportunity to play different types of shots.
There are sixty acres of natural wetlands throughout the Pine Trace Golf Club Golf Course.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6610 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4974 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 607 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 136 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 607 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Pine Trace Golf Club Golf Course. is # 10, a 328 yard par-4.

I play this course often and always find it challenging but fair. there is water, woods, wildlife and beauty throughout all 18 holes.

Carried our sticks from California to Michigan for a short vacation - and selected Pine Trace "in the blind" from their web site. A cordial call to the pro shop got our T-time without a hitch. We got to the course early, as usual, and were very warmly welcomed. The guys (gals) in the shop were a reflection of a very fine golf course operation. The course is immaculately maintained, the greens while sneekly to read and tough to putt they were very fair. Everything about Pine Trace is first class. PS My wife - while not the best golfer in the world - Loved the place.
