$16 (cart included), played on Friday, September 2019 at 7:45 AM

Nothing to do this Friday the 13th morning so I decided to see if I felt ....Lucky. Well starting off the price was $20 18/cart, I had the first tee time and no rain in sight.

The Front 9 (3,001yd / 68.7/111- 2,720yd / 69.3/111) Par 36 was opened in 1965 and has narrower tree-lined fairways. Fairways are mixed grass and mowed short with #8 329yd Par 4 having spotty bare areas in the 180 - 220yd landing area. The #3 is a 471yd Par 5 with a creek crossing at 220yds so pick your carry accordingly. The #4 is a 230yd return carry trip to that same creek on this 353yd Par 4. The #5 486yd Par 5 has the creek at 200yds so its Hcp 2 rating is easy if your drive crosses the creek. The #6 312yd Par 4 has the dogleg at 215yd that leaves an easy pitch to the small green. The greens on this Front 9 are generally small and round but hold very well. The #7 @ 205yd and #9 @ 176yd are your Par 3's on this traditional flat, scattered mix of trees on the Front 9.

The Back 9 (3,065yd - 2,815yd) Par 36 was opened in 1984 and starts right out with a wide fairway on this 301yd, rolling raised green Par 4. Fairway grass is bentgrass and very lush which is why locals playing 9 holes...choose the Back 9. Three (3) of the first six holes are 400 yd Par 4's so let the game begin. The #15 is a 498yd Par 5 and protects its Hcp 1 rating by having its last 100yds all carry across a pond to an island green. No driver and 3 wood are reaching here in two so play to 120yd and birdie/par is yours. The #17 is a long narrow 460yd Par 5 and easy if you play center-cut.....smart. Strange having both finishing holes Par 3's but #18 140yd make the ending easy and fun. Shooting 38/37 w/32 putts in 2.5hrs made it a fun morning........for being Friday the 13th.

Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
