Detailed description of Beech Woods Golf Course
Beech Woods Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Southfield, Michigan.
Beech Woods has short, tight, tree-lined fairways. The terrain is flat and the greens are slow. Water hazards come into play on half of the holes, including #6, a 180-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to the green.
The Beech Woods Golf course plays to 2,778 yards and a par 34. The course has ajacent to it a 50-tee, lighted driving range. There is also a PGA Professional on staff. Private and group lessons are offered.
A fully stocked pro shop is located on the grounds with everything from balls and gloves to clubs, bags and shoes as well as club repair including re-gripping and re-shafting. Clubs, pull carts and power carts are also available for rent through the pro shop.

Great local course. As a senior I pay $7 per 9-hole round and my wife will play with me. Play is less than 2 hours and very walkable. The local pros are very friendly and have a 3-day value package that includes lunch and 3 rounds of golf with the pro. better maintained than some of the local county courses.
