Country Town Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Springport, Michigan.
Country Town Golf Course first opened for play in 1991.The course was designed by Jim Riske.
The course sits on flat terrain. Numerous trees line the fairways on most holes. The tee boxes and greens are consistently described as being in fine condition. Water hazards come into play on five holes.
Par for the course is 36. From the back tees, the course plays to 2,485 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,055 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 361 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 195 yards from the back tees.

Driving through this area on Saturday, August 10, 2019 and stopped in to check it out for a quick 9 hole play. Gate closed and looked like its been abandon for quite a while as the fairway grass was about 2-3 feet high. Checked with a local Party Store clerk and she said that its been closed for about 3-4 years. Another small town golf course.....bites the dust.
