Savannah Oaks Golf Course opened for play in 2006. The course was designed by Craig Schreiner.
Savannah Oaks Golf Course and Affinity Hills Housing Development are co-located on 510 acres of land, much of which had, for 90 years, been mined for sand and gravel minerals. Starting in 2004, the plan was to creat a PGA caliber golf course, surrounded by a housing development. In July of 2006 the first nine holes of that dream opened!
The 9 hole, par 36- 3,575 yard course, boosts an 8 foot, continuous, concrete cart path to guide you through the course. Black, Blue, White, and Red Tee Boxes challenge all different levels of golfers, along with providing a variety for the avid golfer's second and third rounds of play. Savannah Oaks Golf Course and the on-site housing Community, Affinity Hills Estates, is rests on 510 acres. The Redwood River, with it's Oak fill canopy overlooking the valley, provids scenic views.
