Detailed description of Deer Lake Golf Club
Deer Lake Golf Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Springfield, Missouri.
Deer Lake Golf Club first opened for play in 1991. The course was designed by William W. Amick.
The course is relatively flat with a nice mix of both open and wooded holes. Seven ponds have been incorporated into the course design. The course has a very unique feature. Five of the holes are located across Interstate 44. Accesss is gained via an underground cart path tunnel that crosses under the split 4 lane highway. Deer Lake plays to a par-72 and maximum distance of 7,001 yards. The course rating is 74.1 with a 128 slope rating.

Great course to walk, very inexpensive and affordable. Management / Superintendent exceptional. Pace of play is decent. For the money it cost you to play, its a no brainer.
