Quarry Oaks Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Ashland, Nebraska on the bluffs over looking the Platte River.
Quarry Oaks Golf Course opened for play in 1997. The course was designed by John LaFoy.
The layout is extremely hilly with many elevation changes of up to seventy-five feet. Numerous mature trees surround the design, which winds through a very picturesque rock quarry. The course features very generous fairways with sand bunkers and water hazards affecting play throughout. The greens are large and undulating, making precise putting crucial.
The front nine is nice, but the back nine is memorable. Each hole on the back gets better and more scenic. The 394 yard, par-4,17th hole is of the best holes in the state. That doesn't mean the 18th isn't good because it is, but its hard to follow up the 17th. You start paralleling the Platte on the 13th, and hit over a rock quarry on the 118 yard par 3 15th. You then go up to a highly elevated tee box on the 16th that begins a great 3 hole stretch to end your round. Very scenic. So close to the Platte, you can hit balls into it off the tee.
Black tees: par-72, 7,010 yards, 75.1 / 143
White tees: par-72, 6,412 yards, 72.2 / 137
Green tees: par-72, 5,894 yards 70.0 / 130(M) / 73.9 / 138(W)
Gold tees: par-72, 5,068 yards, 66.8 / 119(M) / 72.3 / 124(W)
