Played from the proper tee this course is a fair challenge, move back a tee and it becomes a beast.

Very pretty scenery, but way too much of a challenge for the average golfer which most people are. If you are not a long hitter, you won't enjoy it.

Bayside is one of theose courses that you want to play at least once, but more if you can. It is challenging but kept in great shape. Some holes are so difficult for amatures that it is scary, but others make up for it by being enjoyable to play. The beauty is wonderful.

Had played the front nine on a cold, rainy day in 2011. Was happy to have a beautiful day to get the full course in. I prefer to walk and it is a tough course to walk with all the ups and downs. But I am glad I was able to walk and see much more of the course. It is a challenging course with some difficult carries. Make sure that you play from the proper tee boxes.
