Ruby View Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Elko, Nevada.
Ruby View golf course opened in 1968. It replaced the 9-hole course that was in the way when the I-80 freeway was constructed through Elko. Due to the construction of Interstate 80 and the start of Great Basin College buildings, a new 9-hole course was opened for play in 1968 at the now existing Ruby View Golf Course site. In May of 1972 an additional 9-holes opened for play. The course consists of approximately 160 original acres of land with an additional 100 acres being acquired for future expansion. Ruby View golf course was designed by Jack Snyder.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6919 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5420 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 567 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 163 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 407 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Ruby View Golf Course is # 15, a 344 yard par-4.
