Liberty National measures 7,346 yards from the back tees and plays to a par of 70. The course rating is 77.7with a slope rating of 151. The course was the site of the 2009 Barclays Golf Tournament and will again host in 2013. The challenging course has views of the city's skyline and the Statue of Liberty. The Lindsay Newman-designed clubhouse offers gourmet food, a spa and event space. The course is also equipped with a marina and helipad. The club cost $250 million to build.
The course is known for its' proximity to Manhattan, services, and amenities. The initiation fee (2012) is $500,000 and the yearly fee is just $25,000. Speedboats shuttle players from the boardroom to the tee box. Caddies make New York theater and dinner reservations through the club's concierge.
