Detailed description of Forsgate Country Club -The Banks
Forsgate Country Club is a Private, 36 hole golf course facility located in Monroe Township, New Jersey. Fosgate has two 18-hole golf courses, The banks Course and The Palmer Course.
The Banks Course has deep bunkers and large greens. The Palmer Course has open fairways and fast greens.
Forsgate Country Club, The Banks Course firat opened for play in 1931. The course was designed by Charles "Steamshovel" Banks.
The Forsgate Country Club, The Banks Course is renowned for its challenging and deep recessed bunkers, while the fairways boast lush elevated greens to provide an extra challenge for any type of golfer.
The 18-hole Banks course at the Forsgate Country Club facility plays to a maximum distance of 6,844 yards. Par for the course is 71.

The short rough needs work. 40% of the traps need sand added. Greens are always in good condition. Weather prevents them from getting back to regular 10 on speedmeter.
