Detailed description of Beckett Golf Club
The Beckett Country Club facility in Woolwich Township, New Jersey is a public 27 hole golf facility. The facility has three (3) nine-hole courses: The Red, White, and Blue. They can be combined to form 3 different 18 hole combinations.
The Red features 3,162 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36.
The 9-hole "White" course at the Beckett Country Club features 3,159 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The course rating is 69.5 and it has a slope rating of 117.
The 9-hole "Blue" plays to 3,256 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36.
The courses were designed by Dick Kidder, and opened in 1977.

No real grass on fairways or tees, mostly crab grass
$31 (cart included), played on Sunday, April 2008 at noon
Basically a dog track. The overall design / layout has not changed. No imagination. Very poor bunkers, like playing out of cement.

The people that work here are miserable!!!! It would be great to hear a thank you from them - I don't believe they know those words. The course needs upkeep as well as the greens.

Staff - poor public perception - grouchy greetings - couldn't care less about customers, and it shows!

During the week, you can't beat the price for a round on this course!

Horrible course, we asked the grounds keeper to turn off the sprinkler in the tee box, he refused and then got in my face about it, horrible experience.
