Clayton golf course is a regulation length 9 hole course that plays to a par of 36 and a maximum 9 hole distance of 3,174 yards. There is a second set of men's tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

The course has a number of grass and sand bunkers coming into play on many holes. There is a defined cut of rough and many trees defining all the fairways. The greens vary from medium to large in size and are fairly fast.

Since there isn't a pro shop here, the course opens for play at dawn. This community-owned course accepts payment of green fees through the honor system. Just put your money in the slot box.
