The Cazenovia Country Club Golf Course first opened for play in 1965. The course was designed by Hal Purdy.

There are several short par 4's that require perfect shot placements on their fairways for easy approach shots. Overall, the fairways vary in width, and the medium-sized greens are fast. Streams and ponds come into play on five holes.

Cazenovia Country Club Golf Course plays to 6,325 yards from the back tees and a par of 71. The Red tees measure 5,625 yards and play to a par-74. The signature hole is #9, a 514-yard, par 5, featuring out-of-bounds stakes on the left side of the fairway and water on the right.
