Hamlet Wind Watch Golf Club is a Resort 18 hole golf course located in Hauppauge, New York.

The Hamlet Wind Watch Golf & Country Club, was originally built in 1971 as the Colonie Hill Golf Club, then redesigned in 1990 by Joe Lee and The Wind Watch Golf Club was created. In 1997 the golf course was redesigned by golf course architect Stephen Kay for the new owners, the Holiday Organization.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,613 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,188 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 556 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 155 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 6, a 556 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The Hamlet Wind Watch Golf & Country Club is # 12, a 349 yard par-4.

The Hamlet Wind Watch Golf & Country Club, a semi-private daily fee golf course is unique to Long Island with water potentially coming into play on thirteen hole. The course rewards accuracy with a wide variety of elevations and hazards uncommon on Long Island. Good layout, lots of water and sand, challenging and FUN! Great conditions. I like the 1st hole, par 5, the best. If you get a chance, you should play it!

Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
