This golf course is an excellent value. Although on the short side it is a real shot makers course. The condition for this early in the season after the winter NY had are remarkable. The greens are fast and firm. The place is worth the price and then some. They have a ral nice bar and outside seating area makes you forget where you are and enjoy the day even more

This is considered a short course by some but it has many narrow fairways that will challenge any level golfer. I've played here for a number of years and it seems that the greens are getting better all the time. The clubhouse has gone through a renovation and there is a first class restaurant there now. Twilight rates are in effect earlier here than at other Staten Island courses so you can get a real bargain. I've played 18 holes in a little over 3 hours sometimes in the afternoon. The only complaint I have is the landscape staff. They often don't fail to off their lawnmowers when you're taking your shot and sometimes they will ride right up to you or ride up behind you while you take your shot. But I still believe this is a great course.

You can get killer deals thru GolfNow. Amazing shape for end of February. Not even that wet despite recent rain and snow. Back 9 is soggier than front. So much fun on a weekday.
