Northmoor officially opened as the North Shore Golf Club on April 20, 1923.

This course was designed to play alongside the Grand Lake Saint Mary. The lake comes into play on a couple of holes. The terrain is flat, but water hazards come into play a total of seven times. The tree-lined fairways are open, and the greens are medium in size and speed. This serene course is extremely scenic.
