The last time I played this course (2 years ago) I was disappointed. This time the course conditions were much improved and it was an enjoyable round.

Great greens for as dry as the summer has been. Some areas in the rough were under construction, and that is understandable. In the TOP THREE I've played this year, out of 40 in MICH., OHIO, and IND.

Front nine mostly straight fairways and played 5 under. Back nine more challeging and more imagination in design. Played one under. (Best ball format, 4 players to a team). Course used to be exceptional in landscaping, color and clubhouse/pro shop. Current owners/operators have eliminated any landscaping, so it is a "boring" walk through the hillside. Greens were a little patchy, but almost all courses in area are showing effects of weird summer weather.
