Cimarron National Golf Club is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Guthrie, Oklahoma. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses. They are The Aqua Canyon Course and The Cimarron National Course.
The Cimarron National Course opened in 1992. The course was designed by Duffy Martin.
Cimarron National is to the East side of the clubhouse. Both courses play through canyons.
The Cimarron National Course features many elevation changes. The fairways are narrow, and water hazards come into play on fourteen holes. The greens are large and extremely fast. Some say that the most difficult hole is #15, a 466-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot of at least 250 yards if you want any chance at reaching this green in regulation. According to locals, it's your second shot that will make or break you.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,453 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,359 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 600 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 16, a 447-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Cimarron National is # 6, a 320 yard par-4.

The layout of this course is great but that's about all. They have put no effort into keeping the conditions up on this course. The fairways were mostly dirt. The greens were ok. It is unfortunate because I used to play this course in the late 90's and it was always in great shape and it was a blast to play.
