Lakeside Memorial Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Lakeside Memorial first opened for play in 1946. The course was designed by Oklahoma State Golf Coach Labron Harris. In 1998, golf architect Tripp Davis renovated Lakeside to its current layout.
Lakeside served as the home of the legendary Oklahoma State University Golf Team for almost 50 years. Rickie Fowler, Bob Tway, David Edwards, Doug Tewell, Scott Verplank, and many other PGA Tour players sharpened their games using the facilities at Lakeside.
The City of Stillwater assumed management of this course on June 1, 1997. Greens were reconstructed in 1997. The wooded design features extremely narrow fairways. All of the par 3's are very difficult because of their length. Water (creeks and lakes) come into play on nine holes.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,859 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,167 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 575 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 9, a par-3 that plays to 154 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 523-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Estuary Golf Course is # 14, a 189 yard par-3.

This is a Excellent course, the front nine is somewhat tree lined, and the back nine is more like a Links course. It a very good course that can challenge all levels of golfers. The price is very reasonable. It is a little more on the weekends, than it is during the week.
The only bad thing is they schedule a lot of tournaments, and it seems that they are always on a Saturday morning. So if you want to play on a Saturday, you will have to do it in the afternoon.
