Detailed description of Lost Tracks Golf Club

Lost Tracks Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Bend, Oregon.

Lost Tracks Golf Club opened in 1996.The course was designed by Brian Whitcomb.

Lined with ponderosa pines, the course's design is characterized by its doglegs, which are present to some degree on every hole except for the four par 3s. The course's best-known hole is the 141-yard, par-3 16th, a short hole with a massive green that just happens to be surrounded by water and an old railroad car for a bridge.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7003 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5287 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 576 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 141 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 9, a 573 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Lost Tracks is # 11, a 165 yard par-3.

The worst customer service by far in the central Oregon area. From top management down they are boorish, arrogant, and condescending, and the list goes on...Take your hard earned money elsewhere when in central Oregon. At Lost Tracks they have lost track of how to treat a customer.

Had a great golf experience while vacationing in Bend area this summer. Especially memorable was the Railway Car par three on the back nine. Excellent layout. Good players can appreciate the way the course is set. Also some great memorabilia in the Pro Shop and Grill. PGA professional at Lost Tracks is a past president of the PGA of America.
