Detailed description of Rich Valley Golf
Rich Valley Golf is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
Rich Valley Golf first opened for play in 2003. The course was designed by Jeff Austin.
The wide open front is pretty open and very forgiving (with a few exceptions) and the back is a little tighter, has elevation changes and is more challenging. Slicers have the advantage on the front, 3 dogleg rights and if you hit a draw, you will have the advantage on the back 9, 3 dogleg lefts.
Rich Valley Golf Course has a par-71 layout that plays to 6,882 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 70.8 with a slope rating of 123.

Recent wet weather created several hazard areas on holes 7,8 & 9. First four holes tight. Average course for the average golfer. There are some worse and several better overall in the area.
