Broad Run Golf Club formerly known as Tattersall Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Broad Run Golf Course first opened for play in 2000. The course was designed by Rees Jones.
The round starts with a short par 5, then six straight par 4s, then the showy par 3s start. The fairways are pretty wide open, especially on the back nine, and Jones doesn't overdo it with bunkers either. You have a chance to really go for shots.
There are some houses, but they're so huge and old-school that they almost add to the scene (except on No. 13, a cool downhill par 3 over a swamp where the houses creep in a little too close).
Tattersall tee: par-72, 6,826 yards, 72.8 / 136
Bordley tee: par-72, 6,396 yards, 70.9/ 132
Broad Run tee: par-72, 6,011 yards, 68.8 / 127
Brandywine tee: par-72, 5,286 yards, 70.8 / 127

This is a fun course with a very challenging layout. There are giant elevation changes, some drives from tops of hills and some with a forced carry. Deep rough and then fescue, an accurate drive onto the fairway is a must on this course.

$4.50 for a hot dog & the pro told me that I wasn't being forced to purchase it, and I didn't. Poor girl across the counter lost a nice tip but the pro said that he wasn't concerned about her. A totally indifferent attitude, it was a shame. The carry across 5 or 6 holes from the tee to the ruff/fairway was far to long for the average handicapper. Had to carry exceptionally high, uncut grass, weeds, shrubs for far too difficult for the average golfer. Lost three balls in the ruff and actually found four other golfers lost balls. Sure took the fun out of a round of golf.
