Arrowhead Country Club -Lakes/Waterway, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The Arrowhead course(s) first opened for play in 1994. The designer was Tom Jackson.
The Waterway 9 is definitely the best tract with The Lakes a close second, while The Cypress is a distant 3rd.

The staff was nice. $26 for a six pack of beer seemed like robbery. Pace of play was slow. Fairways, greens were in great shape. Tough course, taking the driver out of you bag on some holes makes you hold back a little. With all the courses in the Myrtle Beach area, I'll probably play somewhere else on my next visit, somewhere a little cheaper. However, I do want to go back and play the Cyprus nine, if I can get a better rate$$$.

Highly recommended by our resort golf pro. Excellent course for experienced players, not necessarily good players, but those with experience. Some holes were very challenging. Not for juniors with little or no experience.

Played this course on Sunday for a scouting round and again on the following Thursday during a tournament. I think this is an excellent quality course (all 3 9's) and VERY challenging layout. Unless your are very solid with your driver, leave it in the bag - or better yet the trunk. The fairways are tight and you will soon get tunnnel vision and steerage problems when on the tee boxes. You can get around this course with a 3 or 4 wood or a hybrid club.
