Possum Trot Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Possum Trot first opened for play in 1968. The course was designed by Russell Breeden.
This course was carved out of the natural terrain of a pine and oak forest. The signature hole is #13, a 200-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to the green.
One of the original 25 courses in the Myrtle Beach area, Possum Trot closed in 2019 after 51 years of business.

The course was in excellent condition especially considering the drought conditions we have had this year. The maintenance crew has been able to get the water needed to keep the fairways green and well manicured. Rough was about average. The greens were very good and all seemed to putt about the same. The course has a nice layout, but is not particularly difficult. It is fair to the average golfer. The staff was helpful.
